School Health Project, Santa Cruz

La precariedad de los servicios sanitarios en el barrio “Plan 3000” nos ha llevado a estudiar en profundidad las posibilidades de intervenir de manera eficaz a partir de las estructuras ya creadas. Training project logical framework

The needs analysis HHNN us realize that the most effective aspect that could intervene, was in training on participatory research to develop projects under the Logical Framework approach.

Volunteers and executives pointed to the need for developing projects based on the role of stakeholders in each section, and thus be consistent with the bottom-up approach within the institution. We looked for the sustainability of the same organization based on the initiative of the equipment.

The project itself has emerged from a shared formulation. For five months, Mercedes Arias and Elena Gil, Allegro volunteers, estuvieron manteniendo seminarios en que ayudaban a trabajar a los equipos en la identificación de sus objetivos. Psychoeducational Project

Collaboration between HHNN Foundation, University of Salamanca, Allegro Foundation

Our collaboration with the foundation "New Men" began to interview teachers of 16 HHNN colleges Foundation through focus groups. 1.-the figure of the social worker that deals with linking families with schools, have monitoring and possible referral to other agencies in the neighborhood . Family violence, malnutrition, abandonment of children, should be followed from the structure of the school and local resources concerning neighborhood, often unknown.

2.-El psychopedagogists, responsible for assisting in every school students with significant delays and work with teachers to reflect on the causes and seeking appropriate training methodology that do not end in dropout.

Through grants from the USAL-cooperation-Office, we have established student placements of these specialties who have worked in schools for 2008-2012. Working together with teachers and families has been very slow since it has been necessary to find a lot of coordination and time teachers often lack. Ongoing assessments have to change the project, starting from direct action with the particular cases, a la prevención por medio de formación en talleres y coordinación con recursos locales.
